YOGA - Inspired by the teachings of the late Vanda Scaravelli

This approach to yoga uses focused attention to undo habitual tension in the body and helps body and mind to relax and strengthen.

With the help of breath and gravity yoga brings a deep feeling of connection and freedom of movement.

The practice of asanas is used to explore how the body and especially the spine wants to move naturally and free. Curiosity and patience are needed to let the body do what it is designed to do.

This is a slow yet strong approach and over time and practice will change the body’s shape and constitution in a beautiful natural way.

Uta Kaiser trains with two of Vanda’s main students, Diane Long and Sophy Hoare, and improves her understanding on an ongoing basis with various other teachers of that approach in Ireland and England.

It is her main interest to share and develop this challenging and beautiful way of rediscovering body and mind, and find a deep and inspiring quietness, encouraging wholeness.

Uta teaches a class Tue 10 to 11.15 in Dalkey at Sighles Yoga 23, Castle Street

Uta is also a fully qualified experienced Shiatsu therapist and trains regularly with some of the main European teachers. She is a member of the Irish Shiatsu Society:
