The Irish Green Building Council aims to provide a framework and leadership to accelerate the transformation of the built environment, industry and supply chain to one that is sustainable based on accepted scientific principles of sustainability.
The Irish Green Building Council proposes to set a vision of a fully sustainable built environment based on principles for sustainable development. This end goal should be the elimination of all violations of clear scientific principles that define sustainability within the built environment and its entire supply chain. The organisation will back cast from this goal to outline a series of strategies and actions which can be used to achieve this.
