Spirit in the City

Spirit in the City is a new fortnightly Shamanic Gathering at The Greenhouse. It explores many aspects of the shamanic experience including theory and practice of hemi-sync journeying, shamanic journeying, shamanic drumming, meditation and visualisation. There will also be regular screenings of spiritual cinema.

The doors open at 7pm and there are tea and biscuits until kick off at 7.30. From 7.30 to 8 there is a talk on a specific topic related to Shamanism and the transpersonal perspective. After the talk participents are invited on an experienctial explorataion of meditation, visualisation, active imagination, hemi-sync guided imagery or a shamanic drumming journey. After that there is a short break with tea/coffee and biscuits followed by a discussion group, sharing of experiences and Q&A.

The aim of Dynamo Effect is to reduce the gap between European countries in intelligent energy use and sustainable mobility and exchange best practices among countries.

  • collect donated bicycles destined for disposal
  • refurbish used bicycles
  • sell the bicycles and second-hand parts to the community as an affordable, quality transport option
  • train at risk population
  • operate a bicycle workshop where the community can avail of tools and advice for bicycle repairs
  • offer bicycle maintenance classes
  • offer cycling classes to be able to ride in confidence in our busy city
