Spirit in the City is a new fortnightly Shamanic Gathering at The Greenhouse. It explores many aspects of the shamanic experience including theory and practice of hemi-sync journeying, shamanic journeying, shamanic drumming, meditation and visualisation. There will also be regular screenings of spiritual cinema.
The doors open at 7pm and there are tea and biscuits until kick off at 7.30. From 7.30 to 8 there is a talk on a specific topic related to Shamanism and the transpersonal perspective. After the talk participents are invited on an experienctial explorataion of meditation, visualisation, active imagination, hemi-sync guided imagery or a shamanic drumming journey. After that there is a short break with tea/coffee and biscuits followed by a discussion group, sharing of experiences and Q&A.
Spirit in the City is facilitated by Martin Duffy and various guest speakers. Martin has worked as a mental health care professional since 1977. He is an accredited Jungian psychotherapist and has trained in various forms of consciousness raising methods.
