A public interview with the director, Conor Horgan, Professor Peadar Kirby from the University of Limerick and Vinay Gupta, a resilience consultant, takes place after this screening of the new award winning Irish feature film that demonstrates just what happens if our community resilience is undeveloped.  Holed up in a picturesque cabin near Dublin, the breakdown of society soon leads to struggles over supplies and protection.  The tense, claustrophobic, yet beautifully filmed setting proves to be the perfect backdrop for this subtle and assured human drama of increasing desperation, dwindling trust and relationships strained beyond breaking point.  Writer and director Conor Horgan demonstrates an assured and imaginative vision, brilliantly complemented by Suzie Lavelle’s cinematography which won the IFTA in 2010.
